- For Hardwood flooring
 - Panels are laid in the opposite direction of the planned hardwood floor installation.
- For Tile Flooring
 - When doing this you should make sure you have a fracture membrane installed between the tile and concrete.
- For Carpet Flooring
 - You should try to use the lowest possible R-valve carpet you can find.
